Kalliopi Vounisea is a Doctor of Counselling Psychology. She graduated with a degree in Psychology from the American College of Greece, Deree College in Athens (BA). She then moved to London, United Kingdom to continue her studies; she earned an MSc in Counselling Psychology and completed her Doctoral research at City University of London, attaining a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DPsych). She has over 17 years of experience in the National Health Service (NHS) of the United Kingdom and have had various Psychology roles in community, acute, and crisis mental health care settings. She has worked extensively with people with mild to moderate problems (e.g. anxiety, depression, OCD, social phobia, health worries, work performance, anger management, relationship difficulties) and with severe mental health problems, such as personality disorders and psychosis. Upon returning to Greece she work privately and offers psychology sessions to individuals above the age of 18.
Having lived and worked in London Boroughs known for their diverse population, she has experience working with individuals from various cultures and skills in communication across language and cultural barriers.
