Eleni Sismanidou maintains her private office in Pallini and conducts sessions in person and online. She holds a degree in Psychology from CCCU University in the UK and a degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology from the University of Ioannina. She has been trained in Systemic Therapy and Counselling by the Human Relationship Research Laboratory in Athens. Since 2007 she has attended numerous seminars, workshops, and scientific conferences on psychology and different approaches to psychotherapy. She has worked at the Department of Mental Health Promotion of the Social Service of the Municipality of Pallini, providing psychological support and counseling to adults and adolescent beneficiaries. Following the pandemic, with the establishment of online therapy, her activity expanded internationally, conducting online sessions in Greek and English. In addition to her expertise in issues related to interpersonal and/or intra-family relationships, low self-esteem, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, support in managing critical situations such as bereavement, loss, illness, etc., her specializations focus on psychosomatic symptoms/disorders, and issues related to perinatal mental health. She systematically continues her personal and professional development by attending training programs that broaden her training, keeping her up to date with the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy in particular, and mental health more broadly.
