Physiomotive - Kousidou Sofia is a Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center located in Nea Smyrni. Physiomotive is staffed by a team of physiotherapists specialized in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, sports, and neurological patients. The physiotherapist and Scientific Director is Vasilogeorgis Giannis (MSc, OMPT, Cert Acup), who studied Physiotherapy at the University of Thessaly. He holds a Master's degree in Neurological Rehabilitation through the PNF method, completed in 2009 at the Advanced 4N (neuro) level, and a Master's degree (MSc) in Molecular and Applied Physiology from the Medical School of Athens at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (E.K.P.A.). He has also completed postgraduate seminars in Therapeutic Taping and Neurodynamics. Additionally, he has studied Pain Physiology and Biomedical Acupuncture through EFEA (Hellenic Physiotherapy Pain Management Society). The physiotherapist - Clinical Pilates Instructor and Director of Physiomotive is Physiomotive - Kousidou Sofia, who studied Physiotherapy at the University of Thessaly. She is certified in the neurological rehabilitation method P.N.F. - Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, reaching the Advanced IIIa level. Furthermore, she applies therapeutic exercise as a rehabilitation tool, having completed the "Muscle Energy Techniques - Pilates" seminar, and is specialized in therapeutic Pilates as well as Pregnancy Pilates.
