Ana de la Guía is a qualified Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist and professional license holder. After completing her five-year studies in Psychology at the University of Jaén, Spain, she continued her studies at the University of Málaga in a pre-doctoral master's degree in Social Research and Intervention. After that, she specialized in a four-year certified program by the European Association for Psychotherapy in Person-centered Psychotherapy at the College of Humanities ICPS in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde (Scotland). Later, she completed a two-year master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Elche, Spain. Ana has also specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy as a Bachelor's and Master's approach and she has completed the first level of EMDR in trauma. In this moment, she has just completed her specialization in sexual therapy from the University of Valencia. As a personal interest, she studies existential psychology, as well as philosophy and anthropology. She is currently taking a training program in Couples Counseling Therapy at KETHESY. During her professional career she has worked in the public and private sectors in Spain and in Greece providing psychotherapy services in different contexts as well as psychosocial intervention in international organizations such as the UN High Commissioner, International Organization for Migration or the Greek Forum of Refugees. In recent years until today, she has been working privately providing individual and group sessions for adults and teenagers, educational programs and workshops as well as personal development retreats.
