Η Σαρμά Νίκη είναι Πνευμονολόγος - Φυματιολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στα Μελίσσια. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και υποψήφια Διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστημίου του Κιέλου της Γερμανίας. Η γιατρός έχει ειδικευθεί στην Πνευμονολογία σε μεγάλα Νοσοκομεία της Ελλάδας και της Γερμανίας, όπως στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νοσημάτων Θώρακος Αθηνών "Σωτηρία", στα Νοσοκομεία "Fachkrankenhaus Kloster Grafschaft GmbH" και "Lungenclinic Großhansdorf" του Αμβούργου. Επιπλέον, Εξειδικεύθηκε στην "Ιατρικη του ύπνου" στο Ιατρείο ύπνου του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου του Αμβουργου "UKE" και έχει εργαστεί ως Πνευμονολόγος στο ιδιωτικό ιατρείο "Alsterpneumologie". Μέχρι και σήμερα είναι Εξωτερικός συνεργάτης της Δ' Πνευμονολογικής Κλινικής του "Ερρίκος Ντυνάν" Hospital Center.
