Nikolas Bourganos is an Orthopedic Surgeon-Traumatologist at Children's Orthopedic Clinic of Athens Pediatric Center. He is also an external associate of General Orthopedics at Athens Medical Center. He maintains a private practice in Cholargos, Athens. He graduated from Medical School of Larissa and is a PhD candidate of Athens Medical School. He specialized at Amfissa Hospital for one year, where he came into contact and treated a number of sports related injuries. Affterwards, he continued his specialty at KAT Attica General Hospital. During his residency he specialized in Microsurgery and Hand Surgery in the homonymous department of KAT General Hospital, as well as in Children's Orthopedics at Pendeli's Children's Hospital. He has participated in many seminars and conferences in Greece and abroad, while he has publications in international journals. He is a member of the SITEMSH and ISSS global organizations that specialize in treatment and prevention of injuries during Skiing and Snowboarding, while he has carried out publications and presentations focusing on the above mentioned injuries of children, adolescents and adults.
