Σε κάταγμα περιφερικής κερκίδας, ο γύψος εφαρμόζεται μέχρι την μασχάλη ή τον αγκώνα;
καλησπέρα σας, σε κάταγμα περιφερικής κερκίδας, ο γύψος εφαρμόζεται μέχρι την μασχάλη ή μέχρι κάτω από τον αγκώνα? ευχαριστώ πολύ

Συνήθως κάτω από τον αγκώνα σε ενηλίκους , μέχρι τη μασχάλη σε παιδιά

Υπάρχουν περιπτώσεις (με μεγάλη αστάθεια) που χρειάζεται να περιλαμβάνει τον αγκώνα («κάτω από τη μασχάλη») στους ενήλικες όμως δεν γίνεται αυτό σχεδόν ποτέ λόγω της σχεδόν βέβαιης επιπλοκής δυσκαμψίας του αγκώνα. Αν το κάταγμα είναι τέτοιο, στους ενήλικες προτείνεται χειρουργείο. Στα παιδιά βάζουμε πιο εύκολα αυτό το γύψο γιατί μόνιμη δυσκαμψία είναι σπάνια
