Sara Pliacha as a Clinical Psychologist with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Hellenic American University, is specialized in helping individuals navigate life's most challenging moments. With experience at both private practices and university counseling centers, she brings a deep understanding of the human mind and the therapeutic journey. Her career has been enriched by her work with diverse communities, particularly refugees and migrants, through collaborations with organizations like the Ecumenical Refugee Program (ECRP) and Melissa, an NGO supporting migrant and refugee women. These experiences have shaped her commitment to supporting individuals from all walks of life and promoting emotional well-being. She offers a personalized, integrative approach to therapy, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices. She focuses on Mood Disorders, Trauma, and Grief, always creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and work towards lasting positive change. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills at the Hellenic American Education Center (HAEC) Counseling Centre and Roots Wellness Center, where she refined my ability to support individuals on their mental and emotional wellness journey.
