She conducted psychological assessments of asylum seekers (victims of abuse/torture, psychosis, suicidal ideation, PTSD) and conducted individual or family psychotherapy sessions to support and treat them. She then participated in implementing the first integration program for recognized refugees to enhance their prospects of independence and autonomy while continuing to see private clients.
