I am a certified Psychologist and Psychotherapist MSc based in Athens, Greece. I received my BA in Psychology from the Open University (UK), with distinction (Summa Cum Laude). I then completed a NECHE-accredited MSc training program in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy with merit based scholarship at DEREE -The American College of Greece, in Athens.
My scientific interests mainly focus on the investigation, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. Throughout my studies, I have conducted research on a variety of topics in the field of psychology and psychotherapy, such as addiction, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental, trauma-related and personality disorders, whilst I have also participated in numerous seminars and workshops. My clinical training is extensive and broad-based and I have been trained in a variety of clinical settings (individual, group, and systemic therapies) as well as in a range of theoretical orientations, including Existential Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems. To this day I continue my training at the Hellenic Society of Daseinanalysis.
Although my focus is primarily on existential approaches, the style of psychotherapy that I aim to incorporate in my clinical practice is multimodal and adapted to the needs of each client, meaning that I integrate scientific-based techniques of distinct theoretical frameworks that can be beneficial for each individual case.
I provide personalised individual and group sessions, available both in my private office in the centre of Athens and online. The sessions can be conducted fluently in Greek and in English.
