Gheonea Andreea Ramona is a psychologist who runs her private practice in Pylaia, Thessaloniki. She has earned a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a MA degree (Distinction) in Counselling Psychology at the University of Sheffield. She completed a Certificate of Specialised Training in Special Education and a Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescence Education. She has worked with adults who have difficulty in dealing with anxiety, boundary issues, relationship problems, sexual and gender-based violence survivors, suicidal ideation, perfectionism and eating disorders, parenting etc.. In addition, she has worked with teenagers, children and parents, particularly focusing on parenting, creating and implementing different comprehensive individual and behaviour modification plans, social stories, play therapy, psychological support and in-person counselling. Last but not least, she has provided volunteering support to adolescents and adults who struggle with stress, anxiety and panic attacks, low self-esteem, grief, phobia and depression to a non- profit online psychological counselling service.
