Ένας μεγάλος αριθμός των εργασιών του είναι δημοσιευμένες σε έγκριτα peer - reviewed ιατρικά περιοδικά στο εξωτερικό, ενώ έχει περισσότερες από 100 δημοσιεύσεις σε ελληνικά και ξένα συνέδρια, ενώ μέχρι και σήμερα αρθρογραφεί συχνά στον ελληνικό τύπο. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι κύρια ενδιαφέροντα του γιατρού είναι η παρακολούθηση των ασθενών με οισοφάγο Barrett’s και ελκώδη κολίτιδα, καθώς και η ενδοσκοπική μελέτη ασθενών με προκαρκινικές αλλοιώσεις στο πεπτικό (δυσπλασία). Επιπλέον, οι σύνθετες πολυποδεκτομές επίπεδων πολυπόδων (ενδοσκοπική βλεννογονεκτομή), η καταστροφή του επιθηλίου του οισοφάγου Barrett με radiofrequency ablation (HALO) και η θεραπεία της παχυσαρκίας με την επαναστατική ενδοσκοπική μέθοδο AspireAssist.

Ο συνολικός χρόνος που μου αφιέρωσε ο γιατρός ήταν 10 λεπτά. Ακόμα και μια απλή ανάγνωση των εξετάσεων που είχα μαζί μου (αξονικές, υπέρηχος, αιματολογικές, ενδοσκοπήσεις) απαιτεί τουλάχιστον 15 λεπτά αν κάποιος διαβάζει γρήγορα. Επίσης καθυστέρησε 30 λεπτά στο ραντεβού. Δεν θα τον πρότεινα.

Το ποσο χρειάζεται για να δει ένας γιατρός μερικές εξετάσεις εξαρτάται από την εμπειρία του, την εκπαίδευση του και την ευφυΐα του προφανώς. 10 λεπτά είναι αρκετός χρόνος θεωρώ ώστε να υπάρχει επιστημονική άποψη. Για το θέμα της αναμονής, για τους ασθενείς μου που έρχονται από όλη την Ελλάδα, τα 30 λεπτά ειναι ένας μέσος όρος αναμονής. Αν αυτό φάνηκε πολύ ζητώ συγνώμη αλλά η εργασία μου είναι δυναμική και δεν υπολογίζονται ακριβώς οι ώρες.
