Ο Βλέτσης Γεώργιος είναι Στρατιωτικός Ιατρός, απόφοιτος της Στρατιωτικής Σχολής Αξιωματικών Σωμάτων και της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και δραστηριοποιείται επαγγελματικά στην Καλλιθέα. Ο ιατρός ειδικεύτηκε στην Β΄ Χειρουργική Κλινική του 251 ΓΝΑ, στην Γ΄ Χειρουργική Κλινική του ΓΝΑ Γ.Γεννηματάς και στην Β΄ Χειρουργική Κλινική του ΓΝΑ Σισμανόγλειο. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε σε παθήσεις μαστού και χειρουργικής ογκολογίας στο Ογκολογικό Νοσοκομείο Άγιος Σάββας. Είναι υποψήφιος του μεταπτυχιακού προγράμματος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών «ΕΛΑΧΙΣΤΑ ΕΠΕΜΒΑΤΙΚΗ ΧΕΙΡΟΥΡΓΙΚΗ, ΡΟΜΠΟΤΙΚΗ ΧΕΙΡΟΥΡΓΙΚΗ ΚΑΙ ΤΗΛΕΧΕΙΡΟΥΡΓΙΚΗ». ενώ έχει διαρκή συμμετοχή σε χειρουργικά συνέδρια και δραστηριότητες συνεχούς εκπαίδευσης σε επεμβάσεις προηγμένης λαπαροσκοπικής χειρουργικής με βραβεύσεις όπως το Τιμητικό Δίπλωμα Καλύτερης Βιντεοπροβολής για την εργασία με τίτλο “Κύστη Διπλασιασμού Δωδεκαδακτύλου” στο 11ο Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριο Λαπαροενδοσκοπικής Χειρουργικής. Τέλος είναι Επιμελητής της Β΄Χειρουργικής Κλινικής του 251 Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αεροπορίας.
