Christina Rogakou is a Cardiologist specialized in congenital heart disease in both children and adults, as well as in interventional cardiology. She has extensive clinical experience in specialized cardiology centers in Germany and Greece and holds a PhD from Heidelberg University, with her research focusing on out-of-hospital resuscitation by laypersons.
She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and obtained her cardiology specialization in 2017, having completed her residency at the Duisburg Cardiology Center in Germany. She then worked there as a Senior Registrar and, from 2020 to 2023, served as Head of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit. She has also received additional training in pediatric cardiology and structural heart diseases through postgraduate programs at the University of Münster.
Since 2023, she has been collaborating with the Pediatric Cardiology Department of the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center in Athens, while also working with Hygeia Hospital and Euroclinic Athens. She is a member of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, the German Society of Cardiology, the German Society for Pediatric Cardiology, and the German Resuscitation Council. She speaks fluent Greek, German, and English.
