Πόσο γρήγορα προστατεύει το εμβόλιο μηνιγγίτιδας Β σε 11χρονο παιδί;
Καλημέρα το παιδί μου είναι 11 χρονών και μέχρι σήμερα δεν του έχω κάνει κανένα από τα δυο εμβόλια που κυκλοφορούν για την μηνιγγίτιδα Β γιατί φοβόμουν τις παρενέργειες...όμως τώρα με το κρούσμα που έχει ακουστεί στην Πάτρα φοβήθηκα και σκέφτομαι να του το κάνω καθώς πρόκειται να πάει εκδρομή με το σχολείο του την άλλη εβδομάδα. Η ερώτηση είναι η εξής μετά από πόσες μέρες αφού το κάνεις ξεκινάει να σε προφυλάσσει το εμβόλιο από τον ιο ή πρέπει να γίνουν και οι δύο δόσεις και με την μία δόση δεν υπάρχει προφύλαξη?

Δύο εβδομάδες μετά την πρώτη δόση ξεκινάει η προστασία. Χρειάζεται να γίνει φυσικά η δεύτερη δόση για να παραταθεί και να ισχυροποιηθεί αυτή η προστασία
