Οι χρόνοι και το ύψος του πυρετού δεν καθορίζουν την ανάγκη ή όχι για αντιβιοτικη αγωγη. Αν υπάρχει στρεπτοκοκκος, ναι, πρέπει να παρει. Οσο πυρετο κι αν εχει. Αν δεν υπαρχει στρεπτοκοκκος, δεν πρέπει να παρει. Πάλι οσο πυρετο κι αν εχει.
