Υπάρχει κίνδυνος γλαυκώματος μετά από επέμβαση καταρράκτη ή άλλες επεμβάσεις;
Όταν κάνεις επέμβαση καταρράκτη οι οποιαδήποτε άλλη επέμβαση υπάρχει φόβος και χρόνια αργότερα να χαλάσει η πίεση στο μάτι ;; και να παίξεις και γλαύκωμα;;; ευχαριστώ για τις απαντησεις

Καλησπέρα σας,
πολύ μικρές πιθανότητες επιπλοκών γενικά, οπως π.χ. αυξηση της πίεσης, υπαρχουν σε όλες τις ενδοφθάλμιες επεμβάσεις . Στο χειρουργείο καταρράκτη ειναι πολύ σπάνια η αυξηση της ενδοφθάλμιας πίεσης. Γενικά όμως, η αυξημένη ενδοφθάλμια πίεση και το γλαυκωμα παρατηρούνται συχνότερα σε μεγαλύτερες ηλικίες. Επομένως , αν καποιος εμφανίσει αυξημένη πίεση πολλά χρονια μετα απο μια επέμβαση, πιθανότατα να οφείλεται στην ηλικα και όχι απαραιτητα στην επέμβαση.
Φυσικά , κάθε περίπτωση αξιολογείται ξεχωριστά.

Εαν οι οποιες επεμβασεις που πραγματοποιουνται στο ματι ειναι επιτυχημενες δεν υπαρχει κινδυνος.
