Ο πατέρας μου 75ετών έκανε χειρουργείο στις 3/9,είχε πυκνό κατρράκτη και προχωρημένο,η όρασή του επανήλθε πολύ λίγο,ο γιατρός του είπε ότι έχει οίδημα κερατοειδούς επειδή δέχτηκε πολύ ενέργεια το μάτι και θα αποκατασταθεί σταδιακά η όρασή του,πόσες μέρες πρέπει να περιμένουμε κ πότε να ανησυχήσω

Γεια σας. Εφόσον ο καταρράκτης ήταν πυκνός είναι αναμενόμενο να υπάρχει οίδημα του κερατοειδούς ειδικά τις πρώτες ημέρες μετά την επέμβαση. Στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις αυτό υποχωρεί σταδιακά τις πρώτες 2-4 εβδομάδες και ταυτόχρονα βελτιώνεται η όραση. Θα ανησυχούσαμε μόνο αν υπάρχει οίδημα στον κερατοειδή μετά το πρώτο τρίμηνο από την επέμβαση.

Αν δεν καθαρίσει σε 2-3 μήνες μπορεί να χρειαστεί μεταμόσχευση κερατοειδούς
