Psychologist - Mental Health Counselor
Kordosi Alexandra is a Certified Counselling Psychologist by the British Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as a Licensed Psychologist in Greece. She is a Group Psychotherapist certified by the Institute of Relational and Group Psychotherapy (ISOPS) and the Yalom Institute of America, having completed a three-year postgraduate specialization in Group Psychotherapy based on I.Yalom's interactive model and Relational Group Dynamics. She is additionally a Probationary Regular Member of the Institute of Relational and Group Psychotherapy (IISOPS), teaching in the Relational Psychoanalysis and Group Psychotherapy programs. She holds a Bachelor's degree (BSc) from Middlesex University, London and a two-year Master's degree (MA) in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent's College, City University, London. She is a Certified Psychological Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Therapist and a Certified Grief Support Therapist from Taking Flight International, Canada. She has attended part of her postgraduate studies in Systemic Family Therapy at Birkbeck College, University of London, in collaboration with the British Institute of Family Therapy (IFT), and at the SKEPSYS Systemic Training and Therapy Centre in Athens. In addition, she has been trained in Clinical Psychopathology by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, along with an internship at the Short Term Care for Women Department of the Aeginetei Hospital. She is a member of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP) and the American Association for Group Psychotherapy (AGPA). In her professional career she has worked in various settings with adults, adolescents and children both in Greece and London.
