Psychologist - Mental Health Counselor
Paleologou Rozina is a Psychologist, a graduate of the School of Social Sciences of the University of Crete. She has been trained in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy at the Institute for Research and Treatment of Behaviour. She specializes in new modern approaches to anxiety and stress management and is currently trained in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction protocol at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Her training includes attending seminar courses on "Parenthood and Mental Health" at the Women's Health Department of the 1st Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens. She has worked in several Psychiatric Units, gaining extensive experience in panic attacks, sleep disorders, phobias, low self-confidence, interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss management and sexual disorders. Finally, she is a founding member of the Society for Women's Mental Health, which is a scientific civil non-profit society dealing with women's mental health issues, and has published in the journal of the PEA Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic.
