Πιθανότητες και λύσεις για αρθρίτιδα μετά από κάταγμα ποδοκνημικής με επέμβαση
Έχω συντριπτικο καταγμα ποδοκνημικης και μου έγινε επέμβαση οστεοσυνθεσης με λαμες και κοχλιες. Οι γιατροί μου είπαν ότι σε 20 χρόνια θα έχω αρθριτιδα το οποίο με ανησυχεί ιδιαίτερα. Θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω εάν υπάρχει πιθανότητα να μην αναπτύξω αρθριτιδα και αν αυτό συμβεί τι λύσεις υπάρχουν καθώς είμαι αρκετά δραστήριος και θα ήθελα και πάλι να μπορώ να κάνω σνουμπορντ και να πηγαίνω στα βουνά για πεζοπορίες. Δεν είναι σίγουρο ότι θα πάθετε αρθρίτιδα
Απλά τα ενδαρθρικα κατάγματα "επιταχύνουν" τη φθορά μιας άρθρωσης , χωρίς απαραίτητα να συμβεί σε όλους ή να προκαλεί σημαντικές ενοχλήσεις.

Η πιθανότητα να μην αναπτύξετε αρθρίτιδα είναι, δυστυχώς, μηδενική. Επίσης πολύ μικρή είναι η πιθανότητα να περάσουν είκοσι χρόνια, αφού το κάταγμα είναι συντριπτικό. Το πιθανότερο, δυστυχώς, είναι να συμβεί σε ένα - δύο χρόνια.
Ωστόσο "αρθρίτιδα" δε σημαίνει πάντα και σοβαρό πρόβλημα. Όσο καλύτερη η φυσική κατάσταση, με χαμηλό σωματικό βάρος (αλλά μέσα στα φυσιολογικά όρια) και καλό μυικό σύστημα, τόσο λιγότερες οι πιθανότητες να αναπτύξει κάποιος αρθρίτιδα τέτοια που να τον σταματήσει από το να κάνει σπορ
