Καταρράκτης, μυωπία, αστιγματισμός στα 52 και νυχτερινή οδήγηση;
Είμαι 52 χρόνων με μυωπία και αστιγματισμό και στα δύο μάτια. Ο γιατρός μου διέγνωσε αρχή καταρράκτη!! Είναι σύνηθες σε αυτή την ηλικία μου είπε αλλά δεν μου προτείνει άμεσα επέμβαση λόγω αυξημένου κινδύνου για αποκόλληση αμφιβληστροειδούς. Έχω δυσκολία στην νυχτερινή οδήγηση που δεν διορθώνεται με γυαλιά και θα ήθελα να ξέρω σε πόσο χρόνο θα εξελιχθεί το πρόβλημα και γενικότερα τι επιλογές έχω;

Εφόσον κάποιος έχει αρχή καταρράκτη και με τα γυαλιά του δεν βλέπει καλά μπορείτε ΣΙΓΟΥΡΑ να προχωρήσετε σε επέμβαση καταρράκτη. Ο καταρράκτης μπορεί να εμφανιστεί και σε ποιο νέες ηλικίες. ΔΕΝ χρειαζεται να ωριμάσει ο καταρράκτης για να κάνει κάποιος επέμβαση. Αντίθετα όσο ωριμάζει τόσο πιο δύσκολη γίνεται η επέμβαση.

Εαν επιρρεαζει την καθημερινότητα σας ο καταρρακτης τοτε να χειρουργηθειτε.Οσο νωρίτερα τοσο το καλύτερο

Όντως έχετε παραπάνω πιθανότητα για επιπλοκή λόγω της ηλικίας και της μυωπίας, αλλά αφού δεν είσαστε ικανοποιημένος με την όραση καλό είναι να χειρουργηθεί ο καταρράκτης σας και να ελέγχεται στενά ο βυθός, μετεγχειρητικά. Κανένας δεν μπορεί να προβλέψει πότε θα προχωρήσει ο καταρράκτης σας.
