Sharma Natasha is a published Author and an English-Speaking Mental Health Counselor and ACA Member, trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other approaches such as Mindfulness, Holistic Alternative therapies, Trauma and Attachment. She also has training and incorporates approaches from Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems,, Psychodynamic and Person-Centered modalities to provide holistic care to each individual. She has completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology (Deree – The American College of Greece) and her postgraduate studies and training in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Counseling (Hellenic American University). She has also received certification from the International Trauma Training Institute and Evergreen Certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. In her early years, she has gained volunteer experience in other countries with special needs populations pushing her to commit to a career centered around helping others. Currently, Ms. Sharma is a partner of the bilingual Roots Wellness Center located in the center of Zografou, where she provides counseling and psychotherapy sessions both in-person and online. She also provides workshops, webinars and group sessions as well. Her work interests and areas of work experience include: Balancing Daily Life Struggles, Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Attachment, PTSD, Phobia’s, Interpersonal Issues, Social Skills - Assertiveness Training, Culture, Personal Development, Body Image, Self-Esteem, Psychoeducation, Mind-Body Training, Relaxation - Mindfulness and Meditation. Ms. Sharma continues to seek out training in further specializations and is under personal supervision to ensure and maintain suitable ethical standards. She is also a published researcher exploring areas of Empathy, Culture, Emotional Regulation and Aggression. In 2023, she co-authored the book "Parents, Children, Teens and Psychological Viewpoints on Parenting Practices in Kuwait and Greece" where she explored parenting, childhood and trauma. She also has experience in business sectors providing workshops on empathy/communication training and enhancing customer experience. Given her multicultural background, she incorporates a diverse and culturally informed approach in sessions to ensure a safe space for each individual. For her, the therapeutic relationship is the basis of all growth where she promotes an empathic, honest, authentic, warm environment with goals tailor made for each session and each individual. - The sessions are held in English.
