Αυτό που ήταν πολύ βοηθητικό και καθόρισε την επιλογή μου να ξεκινήσω ψυχοθεραπεία ήταν ότι δεν προέβει σε έτοιμες λύσεις και συμβουλές αλλά βάζοντας με σε μια διεργασία σκέψεις άρχισα να σκέφτομαι πάνω στις ψυχικές δυσκολίες και στα συμπτώματα μου.

Κατόπιν επισκέψεων κι σε άλλους ψυχοθεραπευτές κατέληξα να συνεργαστώ με τον ίδιο καθώς ήταν ο μόνος που δεν χρειάστηκε να γίνει "φιλικός" για να κερδίσει την εμπιστοσύνη μου. Αρκούσε η επαγγελματική του στάση, η σοβαρότητα του και η διακριτική του ενσυναίσθηση για να με κάνει να νιώσω ασφάλεια μέσα στη συνεδρία. Θα τον πρότεινα σε όποιον αναζητά έναν σοβαρό θεραπευτή.

Με παρέπεμψε για ψυχοθεραπεία η γυναικολόγος μου λόγο γυναικολογικής δυσλειτουργίας που δεν οφείλεται σε οργανικά αίτια αλλά σε ψυχοσωματικά. Είναι πολύ νωρίς να εκφέρω γνώμη για το αποτέλεσμα της ψυχοθεραπείας. Μπορώ όμως να πω με επιφύλαξη για την κατάρτιση, την ανθρώπινη στάση απέναντι σε εμένα και στη δυσκολία μου όπως και για την εμπιστοσύνη που ένιωσα φεύγοντας από τις πρώτες συνεδρίες.
