Τι σημαίνει αρνητικό τεστ Παπ με στοιχεία φλεγμονής και καλλιέργεια;
Καλησπέρα έκανα τεστ παπ και η γιατρός μου είπε ότι είναι αρνητικό για κακοήθεια αλλα αναδεικνύει στοιχεία φλεγμονής και μου πρότεινε καλλιέργεια κολπικού υγρού.. Τι μπορεί να συμβαίνει;

Καλησπέρα. Να προχωρήσετε σε καλλιέργεια κολπικών υγρών.

Ενδεχομένως υπάρχει κάποια κολπιτιδα - τραχηλιτιδα και για αυτό το λόγο απαιτείται μικροβιολογικός έλεγχος των κολπικων και τραχηλικων υγρών.

Καλησπέρα. Το τεστ Παπ είναι μια εξέταση που ελέγχει για αλλαγές στα κύτταρα του τραχήλου που δημιουργεί η μόλυνση από τον HPV. Ωστόσο, όταν δείχνει φλεγμονή, δεν μας λέει από τι προκαλείται αυτή η φλεγμονή.
Η καλλιέργεια κολπικού υγρού είναι πιο συγκεκριμένη εξέταση και μας βοηθά να βρούμε αν υπάρχει κάποια μόλυνση από μικρόβια, μύκητες ή άλλους παράγοντες (εκτός από τον HPV) που μπορεί να προκαλούν τη φλεγμονή. Έτσι, μπορείς να πάρεις τη σωστή θεραπεία αν χρειαστεί. Ελπίζω να σου έλυσα την απορία.
