Ο γιος μου 13,5 χρονων κλείνουμε σήμερα το δεύτερο 24ωρο με Zithromax αντιβίωση.. Είχε φαριγγιτιδα με πυρετό.. Σήμερα βλέπω πως αντί να είναι καλύτερα ανεβάζει πιο συχνά δέκατα με το ζόρι όμως ο πυρετός θα φτάσει το 38,5 και έχει έντονο μπούκωμα και βήχα για τα οποία του είχα ξεκινήσει aerolin kai flixotadite βάσει της παιδιάτρου! Η ερώτηση μου είναι ότι διαβαίνοντας σήμερα το δεύτερο 24ωρο και με την λήψη της αντί ιώσεις δεν θα έπρεπε να έχει καλύτερη κλινική εικόνα και να υποχωρήσει ο πυρετός;;

Καλησπέρα.
Το Zithromax είναι αντιβίωση και δρα σε βακτήρια όχι ιούς. Σε εμπύρετη φαρυγγίτιδα με μπούκωμα και βήχα δεν είναι το Aerolin και το Flixotide φάρμακα εκλογής, εκτός αν πρόκειται για φαρυγγίτιδα που εξελίχθηκε σε βρογχίτιδα. Τα εισπνεόμενα δε ρίχνουν τον πυρετό ούτε η αντιβίωση αν πρόκειται για ιογενούς αιτιολογίας λοίμωξη. Συμπτωματική θεραπεία και αντιπυρετικά κατεβάζουν τον πυρετό μέχρι να κάνει τον κύκλο της η ίωση. Σε κάθε περίπτωση αν θεωρήσουμε ότι πρόκειται για βακτηριακης αιτιολογίας λοίμωξη πρέπει να δράσει η αντιβίωση πάνω από 3 μέρες και αν συνεχίζει το εμπυρετο τότε κλινική επανεκτίμηση, ίσως εργαστηριακός έλεγχος α...κόμα και αλλαγή της αγωγής. Η αντιβίωση βοηθάει στις μικροβιακες λοιμώξεις, όχι στις ιώσεις που πιθανόν έχει ο γιος σας.
