Επιπλοκές από καταρράκτη μετά από περιφερική ιριδοτομή και χρήση Azarga;
Καλησπέρα σας,έχω υποβληθεί σε περιφερική ιριδοτομή λόγω γλαυκώματος και βάζω καθημερινά σταγόνες azarga.Θα χειρουργηθώ για καταρράκτη ,μπορεί να υπάρξει κάποια επιπλοκή;Ευχαριστώ πολύ.

Επιπλοκή μπορεί να υπάρξει σε οποιοδήποτε χειρουργική επέμβαση . Η επέμβαση καταρράκτη είναι ίσως η ασφαλέστερη και με τις λιγότερες επιπλοκές στην εποχή μας . Η ιριδοτομη δεν επηρεάζει σε κάτι την επέμβαση , φαντάζομαι ότι έγινε λόγω στενης γωνίας πρόσθιου θαλάμου , και αυτό συνήθως συμβαίνει σε υπερμετρωπία μάτια με αβαθή πρόσθιο θάλαμο. Αυτό μπορεί να κάνει ελαφρώς πιο δύσκολο τεχνικά το χειρουργείο αφού ο χώρος που έχει στη διάθεση του ο χειρουργός να δουλέψει είναι λίγο πιο μικρός , αλλά δεν είναι κατι που αυξάνει σημαντικά στατιστικά την πιθανότητα επιπλοκής
