Η αξονική τομογραφία δεν είναι εξέταση εκλογής για την διάγνωση αυτών των παθήσεων. Μπορεί να δώσει μια υποψία, χρειάζεται όμως περαιτέρω έλεγχος. Σε πρώτη φάση συζήτηση του ιστορικού σας με γαστρεντερολόγο και ορισμένες εξετάσεις αίματος (και από εκεί και μετά αναλόγως τυχόν συμπτωμάτων).
