Γιατί δεν σταματάει η περίοδος μου στα 50 με TSH <0,01;
Καλησπέρα είμαι 50 ετών με κανονική περίοδο κάθε 26 ημέρες. Αυτή τη φορά δεν σταματάει η περίοδος και είναι ήδη 2 βδομαδες. Ανησυχώ. Εκανα εξετάσεις και η TSH είναι μικρότερη από 0,01. Υπάρχει περίπτωση να φταει αυτό;

Καλησπέρα σας. Εφόσον η TSH είναι τόσο χαμηλή, είναι πιθανό να υπάρχει υπερθυρεοειδισμός, που μπορεί πράγματι να επηρεάσει την περίοδο και να προκαλέσει παρατεταμένη αιμορραγία.
Ωστόσο, επειδή είστε 50 ετών και η αιμορραγία διαρκεί ήδη 2 εβδομάδες, πιο σωστό είναι να γίνει και γυναικολογικός έλεγχος με υπερηχογράφημα, ώστε να αποκλειστούν και άλλες πιθανές αιτίες όπως πολύποδας, υπερπλασία ή ινομύωμα.
Δεν χρειάζεται πανικός, αλλά θα συνιστούσα να ελεγχθούν και οι δύο πλευρές για να βρεθεί η αιτία και να αντιμετωπιστεί σωστά. Στη διάθεση εαν χρειαστείτε περαιτέρω βοήθεια.
