Ανησυχώ για μονομερή διόγκωση αμυγδαλής σε κόρη 20 ετών μετά από λοίμωξη.
Πριν 18 μέρες η κόρη μου 20 χρονών έκανε πυρετό 38.8 και πόνο στο λαιμό. Πήγαμε στο κέντρο υγείας και την ειδε ΩΡΛ. Είπε ότι έχει φαριγγιτιδα και έδωσε αντιβίωση για 8 ημέρες. Παράλληλα ειπε ότι σε καμία 20 μέρες να πάει σε έναν ωρλ ξανά γιατί η μία μόνο αμυγδαλη είναι διωγκωμενη. Πριν περάσουν οι 20 μέρες από την υπερβολική μου ανησυχία την πήγα στον ευαγγελισμό στα επείγοντα 15 μέρες ακριβώς από την αρχή της λοίμωξη) και μας είπε ότι δεν βλέπει κάτι ανησυχητικό αν και η μονοπλευρη διογκωση υπάρχει ακόμη. Μας ζήτησε επανεξέταση σε 6 έβδομαδες. Και είπε ότι εάν χρειαστεί τότε θα κάνουμε εξετάσεις αίματος. Ανησυχώ υπερβολικά για το τι μπορεί να έχει η κόρη μου. Να σημειώσω ότι ο πυρετός και ο πόνος στο λαιμό κράτησαν σχεδόν 2 μέρες.

Η μονόπλευρη διόγκωση είναι όντως, μέχρις αποδείξεως του εναντίου, ύποπτη. Ευχαρίστως να εξετάσω την κόρη σας και να το συζητήσουμε αναλυτικά από κοντά
