I am a psychotherapist and mental health counselor. My first degree is in business administration and I have an extensive track record spanning over two decades as a business executive in the personal care and healthcare industries. Motivated by a profound desire for personal and professional evolution, I embarked on a transformative path, pursuing graduate studies in psychology and I obtained a Graduate Certificate in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy. As part of my training, I have completed supervised practice with an integrative therapy approach. Currently, I am specializing in existential therapy and emotion focused therapy (EFT).
In my private practice, I offer individual sessions for adults dealing with psychological issues related to:
- Life transitions such as loss, relocations, career changes, changes in family status, health conditions
- Feelings of emptiness, loss of meaning and direction in life
- Conflicts in family, friendships, or romantic relationships
- Depression
- Anxiety and stress
- Perinatal (postpartum) anxiety and depression
- Work-life balance issues, professional burnout, and coping with workplace mobbing
- Difficulties due to intense emotions like hopelessness, anger, shame, guilt, fear, irritability
- Panic attacks
- Obsessions and compulsions
My therapeutic approach can be described as existential-integrative, where I combine existential therapy with other approaches such as systemic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and interpersonal therapy, depending on the needs of the client.
Our work together will be guided by your needs and priorities and we will work on exploring different areas of how you live, starting with where you feel more challenged.
I will take on a role similar to that of a companion, accompanying you on the journey of psychotherapy within a mutual and authentic relationship, with complete focus on you. With an open, accepting, and exploratory attitude, I will support the exploration of your world, allowing you to reveal it, re-examine it, and evaluate the possibilities of your choices.
I invite you to embark on this journey of psychotherapy with me, for a fresh breath and a new perspective on your life.
