Mpoura Eugenia is a Mental Health Counselor with postgraduate studies (MSc) in Integrative Counseling and Psychotherapy from the University of Derby (UK) and specialization in Systemic Counseling. She has completed the three-year program "Skills and Interventions in Systemic Counseling" at the Laboratory for Exploring Human Relationships led by Dr. Haris Katakis and holds a Certificate of Specialization in the Systemic Approach. Her counseling philosophy focuses on empowering the authentic self and deconstructing limiting beliefs, aiming for each individual to discover and follow their own path, free from social roles and traditions that impose what one "should" be. With particular dedication and passion, she supports women who feel restricted in their choices and lives, helping them to gain voice, confidence, self-esteem, and freedom of personal expression. She offers individual sessions and group support on issues such as low self-esteem and confidence, difficulties in interpersonal relationships, challenges in the parenting role, grief and loss, anxiety, and personal empowerment. She has also been trained in energy therapy approaches, emphasizing the strengthening of the inner child and the healing of wounds. She has conducted experiential workshops and talks in nurseries and companies, and was a member of the scientific team of Teen-up, an online support program for adolescents, young people, and parents, through which she led seminars on the parent-child relationship, self-confidence, and personal development. She is an active member of the Hellenic and European Counseling Associations.
