Το 2020 παρακολούθησε ολοκληρωμένο κύκλο εκπαίδευσης του φορέα IOSS (Biomede) στην Εμβιομηχανική του Στόματος υπό την καθοδήγηση των Giorgo Fiorelli και Birte Melsen.

Νωρίτερα και κατά τα έτη 2006-2008 είχε ακολουθήσει διετή μεταπτυχιακή κλινική εκπαίδευση πλήρους απασχόλησης στο πεδίο της Παιδιατρικής Οδοντιατρικής στο πρώτο σε αξιολογική κλίμακα πρόγραμμα στο Royal London Hospital του Πανεπιστημίου του Λονδίνου υπό τους καθηγητές Marc Hector, Janice Fearne, Robert Lee, Ama Johal, Margaret Collins κ.ά. Το 2008 της απονεμήθηκε μετά επαίνου ο τίτλος του μεταπτυχιακού διπλώματος Master of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry (Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary and Westfield College, The University of London). Την επιτυχία της συμπλήρωσε η βραβευμένη με άριστα από τον external examiner Sven Poulsen διπλωματική εργασία στο αντικείμενο της οδοντικής τραυματολογίας με θέμα «Αυτομεταμόσχευση πρώτων προγομφίων της κάτω γνάθου προς αντικατάσταση συγγενώς ελλειπόντων προσθίων δοντιών της άνω γνάθου σε νεαρούς ασθενείς» έχοντας ως επιβλέποντες καθηγητές τους διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένους επιδημιολόγους (Cochrane reviewers) Valeria Marinho και Wagner Marcenes.

Στο πλαίσιο του ανωτέρω προγράμματος παρακολούθησε και το Joint Orthodontic Curriculum του πανεπιστημίου του Λονδίνου (2007-2008). Πιστοποιημένη πάροχος iTop μέσω της Curaden Academy (2025) & 1000 πιστοποιημένες ώρες διαδικτυακής επιμόρφωσης από την Αμερικανική Οδοντιατρική Ομοσπονδία ADA CERP, το FORESTADENT Campus κ.ο.κ.

Orthodontiko Paidodontiko Iatreio Kourakou Maria - Tasios Thomas - Sunshine Smiles is located in Piraeus. The scientific directors of the clinic are Tasios Thomas and Kourakou Maria.

Tasios Thomas was admitted to the School of Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005 as a scholarship recipient from IKY with the highest entrance score. During his studies, he was awarded a merit-based scholarship due to his academic performance. He graduated in 2010 and in 2011 was immediately accepted into the orthodontic department of Marmara University in Istanbul. Upon completion of the four-year program, he earned the title of Master of Science and subsequently, after examinations, obtained the orthodontic specialty certification from KESY of the Hellenic Ministry of Health. Since 2015, he has been practicing orthodontics in the Netherlands and since 2018 has been the director of the specialized Orthodontic Clinic Top Ortho in Hengelo, Netherlands, where he is responsible for hundreds of new smiles each year. He performs treatments spanning the full spectrum of orthodontics (surgical cases, tooth autotransplantations, etc.) using both traditional methods and modern techniques such as clear aligners. From 2017 to 2019, he attended the English-language postgraduate program (MSc) Medical Resource Methodology at the Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His postgraduate thesis, conducted in collaboration with the dental schools of Thessaloniki and Zurich, received the award for best publication from the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece. He is a member of international and national scientific societies such as the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), and the Hellenic Society of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research and Study.

Lozinsky Natalia is a Specialist Orthodontist for children and adults and maintains a private practice in Vrilissia. She graduated from King's College London, where she completed postgraduate studies in Orthodontics from 2009 to 2012. She then worked at Guy's Hospital and specialized in Invisible Orthodontics. Returning from the United Kingdom in 2015 and continuing to the present, she handles numerous cases in the field of Orthodontics at her private practice, ensuring the health and smile of her patients.

Markopoulou Dimitra is a Dental Surgeon with a master's degree (MSc) in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick and over 10 years of clinical experience in the United Kingdom.

She is exclusively dedicated to Orthodontics, offering personalized solutions for children, adolescents, and adults. Her goal is for every patient to feel comfortable and informed at every stage of the treatment, within an environment of calm and trust.

Dr. Karkazi Frantzeska DMD, MSc specialized in Digital Orthodontics and clear aligners at the University of Torino (Italy).

In 2020, she was awarded the 1st global prize for the best orthodontically treated case at the 9th World Orthodontic Congress in Yokohama (Japan).

In 2023, she was honored by the World Federation of Orthodontists at the American Orthodontic Conference (New Orleans) with the Changing Lives Award (Lee W. Graber).

The doctor focuses on orthodontic treatment guided by facial proportions to achieve a beautiful and functional smile that harmonizes with the rest of the face (Facial Driven Orthodontics).

The clinic is equipped with one of the first intraoral digital scanners in Greece.

Recordings with the scanner allow for better treatment planning and case monitoring, giving the patient the opportunity to see the final result of the treatment.

Papageorgiou Ioannis is a specialist orthodontist and holds a PhD in Orthodontics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He maintains two orthodontic clinics, in Peristeri and Zografou. He graduated from the Dental School of the University of Athens in 1988, attended postgraduate orthodontic courses in France in 1991 and 1992. He completed postgraduate studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 1993 to 1997, where he obtained a Master's Degree in Orthodontics and shortly afterward, following examinations by the Ministry of Health, the title of Specialist Orthodontist. In 2007, he was awarded a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with the highest distinction. He participated in the Organizing Committee of national and international symposia of the Orthodontic Society of Greece. Finally, he was a member of the Editorial Board and a reviewer for the journal Greek Orthodontic Review. 

Gkeka Olga is an Orthodontist who maintains a private practice in Kallithea and manages cases across the full spectrum of orthodontics (children and adults). She has completed a three-year laboratory Master of Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Biomedical Sciences in Dental Medicine) with a scholarship and received Orthodontic Specialty training from the Hadassah University Medical Center in Israel. During her three-year specialization, she was trained to address all types of orthodontic anomalies, including complex cases of impacted teeth, surgical cases, as well as full proficiency in the Invisalign method.

In recent years, she has attended conferences and has participated as a speaker or poster presenter.

Upon completion of her studies, she obtained recognition of her Orthodontic specialization for Europe following examinations.

She completed a two-year Dental Internship at the Naval Hospital of Athens in the Therapy and Orthodontics clinics and has worked in general dentistry and orthodontics in private practice. 

Stamou Eui is an Orthodontist with a private practice in Acharnes. She graduated from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized at Boston University in the USA and at Tel Aviv University in Israel. She has worked at the 'Accessible Orthodontics' clinic in Oxford, UK, and has exclusively practiced Orthodontics since 2004. She has specialized in Lingual Orthodontics and the technique using clear aligners, providing alternative solutions for adults through these innovative methods.
